The Grand Egyptian Museum’s opening date is confirmed.
I recently met with Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities at ITB Berlin and, for the first time anywhere, obtained an on-the-record commitment from the minister himself of when the GEM would finally fully open to the global public — news that the world has been waiting on for decades.
While other media outlets have only reported on the opening ceremonies, events, and parties, we have full information on when all of the galleries and exhibits will be open for public visitors and tourists.
